When it belongs on your shortlist
You want a plant-based comparison alongside the dairy shakes.
The tradeoff to understand
Plant based does not make every product suitable for every allergy. Read the current package and manufacturer allergen guidance for your needs.
What the numbers tell you
The manufacturer label for this chocolate variant lists 32g of protein and 200 calories per 12 fl oz container. That works out to 16.0g of protein per 100 calories, using the rounded label values. This ratio describes the formula; it does not tell you how it tastes or whether it is the best choice for your diet.
The label lists 3g of total dietary fiber. Compare the whole container with other whole containers, and keep the named flavor fixed. Different flavors and product lines can have different nutrition, sweeteners and container sizes.
Ingredients and dietary fit
Protein base in the reviewed manufacturer information: Pea protein and organic pumpkin seed protein; plant-based. This is a summary, not the full ingredient list.
This is a plant-protein option. Dairy-free positioning is separate from personal suitability for any other allergy.
Sweeteners identified in the reviewed manufacturer information: monk fruit extract, stevia leaf extract. This summary is not a substitute for the full ingredient list, and we do not infer tolerance or health effects from a sweetener name.

Research notes
- This comparison covers the 12 fl oz (355 mL) bottle. OWYN also lists a 330 mL carton; do not assume the two formats share the same ingredients.
- Other OWYN assortment pages list different gums/sweeteners; exact received formula must match.
